Early Tuesday Mornin', Feb.10th, I'll be pickin' up my Ol'Feller Travelin' Buddy, and headin' off fer the Columbus Airport, where we'll depart on our Great Holy Land Expedition... We'll go by way of Chicago, then over the Atlantic Ocean to
Frankfort Germany~ and from there onto Tel Aviv, Israel... We're scheduled to
arrive in Israel at about 3pm Israel time on Wednesday (which will be 8am Wed.
morn. Ohio time) We have about a 4 hour layover in Chicago and about a 3 hr.
one in Frankfort (but, least ways, we won't have to rush through the airports
tryin' to make connections...) So, as close as I can figure, we'll be in transit from
Columbus to Israel for just at 21 eyrhs (7 hrs. of it will be on the ground...)

Our Tour Group Travel Instructions suggested that we not make ourselves too conspicuous~ so as you can see in the picture up above, we decided to tone it down just a tad, so's we won't stick out so much... I mean, when it comes to bein' Culturally Sensitive, Me and Bro.Hays have that purdy well covered~ don't ya think???

The first night afternoon & evening, there's nothing special planned... We will be free to relax from our l-o-n-g journey, and hang out on the shore of the Mediterrean Sea... And that's when I'll probably try to do my first entry on my travel blog... So, don't be expecting to see much more until after Noon on Wednesday... and, remember, I'll only be able to do the blog, if the hotels we stay in have easy internet connections...

Our first day of travel will begin in the North of Israel, at Caesarea...then to the Plains of Megiddo(where the Battle of Armageddon will be fought) ... then onto Nazareth and the Sea of Galilee... then the next few days we'll visit Capernaum, the Jordan River, the Mount of Beatitudes, the Dead Sea, Masada... then, we'll spend about 4 days in & around Jerusalem...then, on the 10th day, we head for the Red Sea and Mt. Sinai... then, we cross the Suez Canal by bus on into Cairo Egypt, where we'll see the pyramids, etc...

We will arrive back in Columbus at about 6pm, Sunday evening, Feb. 22nd.... And, Pray! Don't expect much out of either of us for about a day or 2 after that...
