WE HAVE ARRIVED!!!
We were about an hour late due to a delay in
Frankfurt Germany... We were out on the Run-way,
and the pilot announced that one of the engines
wouldn't start...... So, the mechanics came and got it
fixed, then we were back on course...
We're at our Hotel on the Mediterranean Sea...
Can't see much, as we arrived after dark, but I hope
to git up early to git some pictures...
We've had supper with the group at the Hotel
Restaurant... Food was very good... Hopefully,
I'll be able to download some pictures tomorrow~
but that depends on how accessible the internet is
at our next hotel... But, I do hear that "The King David
Hotel" is purdy up to speed...We'll be there for 4 nights
when we're in Jerusalem.
There are people from all over North America in our
Group... Canada~ Alaska~ Kansas~ Nebraska~ New
Jersey, etc...
A CUTE LITTLE DILLY-ISM... Today when I called
home upon our arrival in Tel Aviv to report our safe
landing in Israel... I got to talk to Dilly... I said~ "Dilly
this is Bubba~ I'm over where JESUS used to live."
To which she responded~ "Bubba, JESUS lives in my
heart!" 'Nuff Said.....
WELL, THIS IS YOUR GLOBE-TROTTIN' PREACHER
SIGNIN' OF FER NOW... GOD BLESS!!! AND ALL YOU
ONERY CHURCH MICE BEHAVE YOURSELVES......
P.S. My travelin' partner is behavin' himself purdy good
so far~ but, I have noticed a few folks givin' him a funny
quizzical look~ esp. when he bursts out with the giggles...

We love your blogs! This is great that we can all log on to read about what is going on with you and David during your visit. Thank you so much for sharing this and we continue to pray for you both. I know your family really misses you and so does your church family! We expect to see a slide show presentation of all your pictures when you get back on a big screen. also, we are having quite a windstorm, so if nobody leaves comments for a time, it might be due to a power outage. we have electric here right now, but i know the village of bethel is experiencing a power outage right now. so, if we should lose connection, i love you and am thinking about you...

ReplyDeleteso far we have no lost power. thank the Lord! Grandma is doing fine since your departure. Nothing to report thus far. Dylan has asked if you were coming home a couple times, but is fine. I am enjoying not wiping up crumbs!...but miss you all the same. Have fun.
